A meeting was called by the project coordinator to discuss this project. It was agreed that the lower and upper primary grades will be also involved in this project not only 11 - 16 years old students since our school enrolls students from Kindergarten to Grades 12. . I apologize for the change of grade levels.
So, the project will be of mixed ages.
Summary
Project Title: Knowing a New Environment
This project is set up aiming to discover new environment for our students. Through this project, students from different member countries will enable to know and see other environment that might be the same or different from their own surroundings even though they are not going out of their school campus. Exchanging knowledge, ideas and observations will be discussed in this page. Information about their environment and how can each participating school can help in preserving the whole world environment. Through simple things our young students are learning and what they can do while in the school and share these knowledges to other people is one of the many ways to perform their duties as a good global citizen, that is, "Preserving our Environment".

Since the children who will be participating in this project will be coming from the lower and upper primary and secondary levels (ages: 6 - 16 years old) topics they learn about environment in different subjects will be discussed and shown here. This project starts month of January, 2012 and will end depending on the school calendar of participating schools.. Everybody is welcome to join in this project. Let us share information about our environment so students from different countries will know us, thus giving them full awareness of what is around them not only in their own country but especially from the outside world. Lots of environmental problems exist at present and this is one way how we can help each other solve and remedy these problems. Let us join together to preserve our environment.
To all interested participants,
The project is now going on. Our students from Grades 1 - 12(ages 6 - 16 are already grouped into different clubs since last first semester. Two clubs are selected to work in this project because their objectives and activities suit to the goals the author is targeting ' Maintaining and Preserving the Environment' . Works last semester will be posted for you to see what they have already done. Activities to be done at present will be posted from time to time. Everybody is invited and welcomed to join this project. Join and share information with each other. Doing thus will help people all over the world to have a good place to live in.
