Sacrifice holiday was Nov. 16 this year . It is celebrated to commemorate the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son to God, who in the end ordered Abraham to sacrifice a ram instead. Sacrificial meat is traditionally divided into three parts: one for the immediate family, a second for relatives and friends, and a third donated to the poor or needy.

Heritage Day
The photos under represent our Cultural diversity. We were celebrating Heritage Day. On celebrating this I invited ten other schools and Departmental Officials from Education and other sectors.
In South Africa we have eleven official languages. These people have different cultures.
I am a Zulu. In Zulu Culture, a girl, (virgin), must show her breast, they even show their bums but, because of civilization and the fact that the culture is metabletic, they no longer show them as depicted in the picture below.
In the Zulu cultures they celebrate the following:
-Umkhosi Womhlanga: where young girls are checked for their virginity and encouraged them to maintain their virginity by abstaining and protect/prevent HIV/Aids, unwanted or teen pregnancies as well as STD's.
