We are a nursing university (4 year) in Japan, with an annual intake of about 100 students. We would like to have an online intercultural exchange with other nursing students around the world. The aim of doing this for us is mainly about improving the students' English proficieency, developing their understanding of other cultures and deepening their nursing interests. However, we think we can collaborate with any nursing students/classes or EFL/ESL classes for nursing students as far as they are nuring students. We are thinking of starting with information exchange on general topics such as "self-introduction", "our towns/cities", "cultures", and then move on to discussions of more specific ones such as "our studies", "nursing", "health care in society". Asynchronous communication will be preferable but some audio or visual communication could be given consideration. It will be appreciated if anyone interested in this contact us.
