Here at Rhosddu Community Primary in Wrexham we are organising our second Fair Trade Tea Party. Last year's party was a huge success! The whole school learned a lot about fair trade and we all made tasty goodies from fair trade ingredients to sell at the tea party. Last year the money we raised from the sale of the cakes and biscuits went to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal. This year we hope to raise lots of money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
Last year we took part in the 'World's Biggest Fair Trade Cotton Table cloth' challenge. This year we are all designing a flag for the 'World's Longest Fair Trade Cotton Bunting' challenge.
We look forward to sharing some of our recipes, photographs of our tea party and pictures of the bunting on display with you and to finding out about how other schools are promoting fair trade this fortnight.
