This prject aims to get students to discuss the issues and/or problems they have with where they live. They should find it helpful to see what people in other countries are bothered about.

What bothers me?

Students decide on the ten things that bother them the most at the moment. The list is compiled and can be shared with their international partners.

Evidence

Students gather materials to support their views - these can be written, photographic, short movie clips or sound files. They then collate the materials and redesign their initial list into a multimedia package demonstrating what bothers them and showing why. This presentation is then sent to their international partners.

Reaction

Having received and examined their partners' gripes, the students try to think of advice to give their counterparts. Their advice is then sent back so their partners' can look it over.

Argumentation

Once they have read their partners' advice, the students come up with their reasons as to why they will or won't act on the advice they have received. Their reasons are then sent back to their partners by way of explanation.

Debate?

If the students are feeling involved in the project they can continue to discuss their ideas for as long as they find it interesting and/or constructive.
