Can you feel that straining on your eardrum?
Can you hear that tearing moan?
Can you sense that shrinking artery?
Can you foresee that doomsday?

If not, ………………………….
You are no human being
You have no right enjoy your life
Destruction global juggernautise you …….
Provide limitations only
Constrictions galore do not
Entitle you to be mute, passive receivers.

Think of your progeny
Count your concerns for them.

Oh, man ! Leave this rat race for once
Take a deep breath -------
Sense the polluted air
Sense the narrowings within you
Get over petty jealousies, hatreds
Do not trample other humans
And make them ladders for self-lift.

This beautiful planet with bountiful riches
Is not meant to be history.
Wake up; add on; imbibe; sponsor values
Make earth a symbol of dynamic progress.

Let us provide a better morrow.
Let us not live only for ourselves.
Let that beaming smile of yours
See the “sea change” around you ----
Blooming of joy, emanating of fragrance,
Proclaiming of global oneness,
Hand-to-hand life-to-life.

A World We Desire

Let us be Global Citizens
Where there is no strife,
Love and brotherhood prevails.
A peace of understanding
That we are children of God;
Puny creatures with just one life endowed,
To do things of the highest order
And let not our power of mind go asunder.
To bestow love and care
On creatures divine
We are ONE under the same star and sun that shine.

Then why the need to hate and kill ?
Life is too long,to make weapons
Blast off temples, churches ,mosques and towers
But too short to live for each other ,
Like children of the same mother
Brought up with values sublime
With Global Peace at the helm of their minds.
