Summary

In this project, partners (teacher) with their students are expected to participate in turns to write (feed in) events of a story until they come out with a full version of it. Aims: - To improve student' reading, writing and spelling skills as well as thier imagination. - To create new stories which are not written before. - To use the stories as visual aids in thier classrooms.

Writing up the story

The project owner will write the opening sentence of the story.In turns, partners will feed in events,plots,characters and solutions. Note that each partner is not allowed to write more than three sentences in each turn. Also they can add whatever images that suit with the events.

Sami was a lazy student and he doesn't like the library.

One day,he found a very old book.
Sami and the old book
The book was very heavy and covered with dust.
Although it was dirty and covered with dust, Sami started to feel attracted to it.
While he was looking at the book a nice picture attracted him .

Feedback

partners will discuss, edit, finalize and evaluate the story through the discussion forum.

Implications

Partners can use the story in their classes as a shared reading technique. They can also narrate and act out the story. Moreover, they might publish it within the school or use it as an estory.
