Tender Tales

To promote untethered imagination, group work and encourage free use of the English language, we started with the new concept - The Creative Club. Groups of children were formed taking care to see that every child had something to contribute in terms of illustrations, ideas, good language, presentation etc. Every group was given the freedom to write a story of their choice, decided with the consent of every member in the group. Ms. Jackie Ashton, one of the members of UKIERI, introduced us to the website elanguages.org , where we can upload or download the stories of children around the globe. So, we started this project titled “ Tender Tales” on e-languages. Through Tender Tales we aim at providing a larger platform for exposing the work of our children from the Creative Club, winning appreciation for them. As also, giving them an opportunity to enjoy the literary work created by the children from other countries. We have with us a collection of original stories written by our own children of std. III & IV in the academic year 2007-08 which we intend to showcase on e-language.
