Adding Multimedia To Your Projects

This stage will introduce two tools for creating multimedia content, Windows Movie Maker and Audacity

The Digital Toolbox is an excellent resource on how to create movies and sound files using freeware (free software) such as Movie Maker and Audacity.

A great website with huge amounts of video footage and archives ranging anything from Chinese culture to Koalas sleeping! Clips are downloadable in Windows Media Format and Quicktime Movie format.
Great resource for music pieces in many genres and moods. Download the tracks in .mp3 format.
Good resource for sound effects. Use the search engine to find the sound effect you want.
A very good PowerPoint presentation on how to create good presentations and how to avoid their pitfalls.

Planning an eLanguages Project

This stage will look at what makes a good eLanguages Project and how to start planning a project

eLanguages Project Assignment
Create a project, keeping in mind the tips of creating good eLanguages projects, for your students to interact and collaborate with another class.

The project should consist of the following:
- At least 4 project stages
- One video
- One sound file
- Other resources such as Word templates, Powerpoint presentations etc..
