応援団 Ouendan

応援団 Ouendan (Pronounced as Oh-Endam) lit. supporting or cheering group

These videos were taken at our Sports Festival Day (体育祭) in the 2008 school year. Our sports festival is held once a year in October. This part of the festival shown in the videos is where each group (White, Yellow, Red and Blue) perform a kind of group cheer performance. Then at the end, one group is chosen for the best performance. Which group do you think won??? We will tell you the answer later so that you will have some time to think about it and discuss it with your friends :)

Here are the names of the groups in order:

1. 白団　White Group (東軍　The East Force)
2. 黄団　Yellow Group (南軍　The South Force)
3. 赤団　Red Group (西軍　The West Force)
4. 青団　Blue Group (北軍　The North Force)
