GETTING STARTED

Get your pupils started on animation, perhaps by looking at You Tube. My class looked at other animations made by children in another Scottish school. The inspiration for the first films was our topic on Victorians. We used very basic equipment, inexpensive webcams and free software- Windows Movie Maker. I hope your class learn as much and have as much fun as we did.

BALMUILDY KIDS HAVE FINISHED THEIR MOVIES!

Click on some of our movies to see what we have done! We certainly learned a lot - how to work together, how to use the technology, how to craft a story. There are things we would do better next time - use the tripod more, better lighting - but we had great fun!

CROATIAN KIDS HAVE ALSO FINISHED OUR TWO PART DOCUMENTARY AROUND OUR HOME-TOWN ZADAR!
Hi! We are unskilled, slow in filming, but, we're also having lots of fun in processing our documentary.
This documentary shows Zadar sights,as seen from our pupils; it's split into two parts. Here are they!

Here is our 'spring-time' movie in our School.

We've also started our Comenius project this September '09. Here's a 'video summary' of our first two activities.
It was great to see all the hard work you are doing on your Comenius project. I look forward to finding out all about it from your teachers.
Good Luck with the project, and maybe we will be able to join in too.

Well done to everyone at The Indian Heights School on your wonderful films. I know the pupils in my school will really enjoy seeing all the fun things you do in your school.
Thank you so much.
