Motijheel Government Boys’ High School is one of the largest, dignified and renowned educational institutions in Bangladesh like other government and non government top most high schools. This glorious and prestigious seat of learning is located at the central part of the capital of Bangladesh. The historical Rajarbag Police Line, Kamalapur Railway Station, Central Office Zone of the country is very near to its site. The then Prime Minister of Pakistan Government, a spiritual son of Democracy and a delighted leader of East Pakistan, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, played a pioneer role in the foundation of this institute. At the day of establishment it was started with the name “Motiheel Central Govt. High School.” After the birth of Bangladesh it was changed into Motijheel Government boys’ High School. With the passage of time, the school has attained a tangible improvement in the quality of education as well as expansion of volume in respect of both activities and infrastructure.

Name: Motijheel Govt. Boys’ High School, Dhaka-1000 Establishment: June 14, 1957. Foundation-stone was set up by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy. Site: Motijheel, near Kamalapur Railway Station, Rajarbag Police Line, Central Office zone and mother office of the school, Directorate of secondary and Higher education. Land area: 7.5 Acres.
