Silk Painting

Class 8 spent the day with Sharon Verry desinging and creating silk paintings based on the artist Bryan Pierce.

WITHIES

Year 3s have been experiencing getting creative with withies, with a true Cornish feel! Pirate ships were the theme and look at how amazing the fleet turned out!

PORTHMEOR STUDIOS

Year 6 spent the morning at the Tate St Ives, studying the paintings of Alfred Wallis, making sketches and recording fascinating facts. We then went to the St Ives School of Art at Porthmeor Studios and created our own Wallis inspired paintings, using acryllics.
