Year 2 Projects

1. Developing English Language Skills Through Mobile Phones.

Multimedia phone applications used to develop language skills. We are using mobile phones provided by Nokia and a phone to web application provided by cell-telecom.

2. Kites.

Developing design skills and sharing cultures through kites.

Project work under difficult circumstances

Our partnership with schools in Kandahar has presented many challenges. Only three hours of electricity a day has made computers and internet access mostly impossible. The solution we have tried is to use mobile phones, not for telecommunication but as collaborative tools.
