Hi All,
I am writing this after a very busy day at HIM Academy. I was given a full Indian welcome this morning as you can probably tell from the photos. I was humbled by the whole experience and over whelmed. We then had a hour of press conferences!! I will be on the TV this evening and in the papers tomorrow. I then had meetings with Principal, Managing Director and Vice Principals who are Naina and her sister in law. Plus the Principal and MD are Naina's parent in law.
This afternoon i spent meeting the students of the academy. They were very polite, well mannered and responsive. I have never given my autograph to so many people!

We are overjwhelmed to have Mr. Matthew with us in HAPS. He was excellent at press conference and whole school assembly.We don't feel like sending him back to Gartree.

Tell Naina she can't keep you, we are all missing you, especially Mary who is really quite poorly and had to go home again today.
Must get back to my books now, will organise an autograph signing session for you when you get back!

Sorry to hear Mary is not well. Please send her my best wishes. Thankyou for your messages. It is good to hear from you all. Today i made my address in assembly. It seemed to go well and the students were very attentive. I have also been learning traditional Indian games and could not help but get involved. This afternoon i visited the 16 - 18 year old students and gave a power point presentation on Gartree. So its been another great day with good food inbetween. I will be a stone heavier when i get back. Please keep the messages coming

It was good to be able to speak to you both on the video. I am so pleased it worked. The pen pals loved it and look forward to meeting again in the future.

Gartree got a mention in the Target this week (yr 9s who took over East Lindsey District Council on Friday).
