no doubt that the global warming is increasingly effecting our planet negatively. understanding the reasons behind this hazardes problem will help to come up with some strategies to solve the problem and protect our planet.
I totally agree with you that global waarming is increasingly
affecting our plante. the question is how we can avoid the bad
effects.

Some of the effects:
* Global Warming isincreasing the earth’s average temperature.
* The major source of carbon dioxide is the power plants.
* Buildings, both commercial and residential represent a larger source of global warming pollution than cars and trucks.
* The second major greenhouse gas after carbon dioxide, which causes global warming, is Methane.
The power plants emit large amounts of carbon dioxide produced from burning of fossil fuels for the purpose of electricity generation. Coal is the major fuel that is burnt in these power plants. Coal produces around 1.7 times as much carbon dioxide per unit of energy when flamed as does natural gas and 1.25 times as much as oil.

1. Intro
Everything in nature is at its equilibrium and optimum state. Man has been destroying this natural balance with his efforts to make good for himself. To gain high standards of living, he has been discovering and inventing which ultimately has disturbed the natural equilibrium. In 1980s, scientists noticed that the temperature of the earth was rising. This global warming has now become a major threat for the survival of this planet and the survival of human beings.
2. Causes
Why the earth is getting warm? The single answer would be the.” The Nature is unbalanced “. Everything undergoes changes and will always vary for natural reasons and to balance the disturbance. However human activities are increasing significantly the concentration of some gases in the atmosphere such as green house gases, mainly carbon dioxide, which tend to warm the earth surface and anthropogenic aerosols, which mostly tend to cool it.
3. Greenhouse Effect
The “greenhouse effect” often gets a bad rap because of its association with global warming, but the truth is we couldn’t live without it. What Causes the Greenhouse Effect?
Life on earth depends on energy from the sun. About 30 percent of the sunlight that beams toward Earth is deflected by the outer atmosphere and scattered back into space. The rest reaches the planet’s surface and is reflected upward again as a type of slow-moving energy called infrared radiation. As it rises, infrared radiation is absorbed by “greenhouse gases” such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, ozone and methane, which slows its escape from the atmosphere. Although greenhouse gases make up only about 1 percent of the Earth’s atmosphere, they regulate our climate by trapping heat and holding it in a kind of warm-air blanket that surrounds the planet. This phenomenon is what scientists call the "greenhouse effect." Without it, scientists estimate that the average temperature on Earth would be colder by approximately 30 degrees Celsius (54 degrees Fahrenheit), far too cold to sustain our current ecosystem.
4. Does Greenhouse effect really responsible?
Some people say that scientists are overreacting and global warming is a false concept in order to increase the economical potential of the market. A small number of scientists argue that increasing greenhouse gases has not made a considerable difference on the earth temperature. They say that change of the Earth’s climate is a natural process, so human activities could not have caused global warming. While the majority of mainstream scientists agree that global warming is a serious problem that is growing steadily worse. The growing number of forest fires across the world is the supporting evidence of global warming and the melting of ice caps causing the increase of sea level water will lead to loss in food production leading to hunger.
5.How Do Humans Contribute to the Greenhouse Effect?
While the greenhouse effect is an essential environmental prerequisite for life on Earth, there really can be too much of a good thing. The problems begin when human activities distort and accelerate the natural process by creating more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere than are necessary to warm the planet to an ideal temperature. Burning natural gas, coal and oil —including gasoline for automobile engines—raises the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Some farming practices and land-use changes increase the levels of methane and nitrous oxide. Many factories produce long-lasting industrial gases that do not occur naturally, yet contribute significantly to the enhanced greenhouse effect and “global warming” that is currently under way. Deforestation also contributes to global warming. Trees use carbon dioxide and give off oxygen in its place, which helps to create the optimal balance of gases in the atmosphere. As more forests are logged for timber or cut down to make way for farming, however, there are fewer trees to perform this critical function.
Population growth is another factor in global warming, because as more people use fossil fuels for heat, transportation and manufacturing the level of greenhouse gases continues to increase. As more farming occurs to feed millions of new people, more greenhouse gases enter the atmosphere. Ultimately, more greenhouse gases means more infrared radiation trapped and held which gradually increases the temperature of the Earth’s surface and the air in the lower atmosphere.
6. Effects of Global Warming To Environment

Global Dimming, increasing temperature, sea level increasing, accelerating melting of glacier, increasing barren and desert areas, climate changes that affect the agricultural crops, social and economic effect and the volcanic effects that cause the tsunami .
7. Remedy
There needs to be something done to the environment we are living in. We have put so much money into trying to change the environment, but it hasn’t really changed dramatically. It will be different if people actually put in a helping hand to make a change instead of the government saying things and not doing anything.
The economists and industrialists may think that “Dumping hazardous waste in rivers, in lakes, or on the land is far cheaper than rendering the waste safe or storing it in ways that will reduce the likelihood it will harm the biological environment. Similarly, it is far cheaper to release pollutants such as sulphur dioxide and nitrous oxide into the air than it is to clean up smokestack and vehicle emissions”. Not to mention, the value of human health that can be achieved through protecting the environment is far beyond prioritized and considered than the financial down terms.
8. What should we do?
We should do something to prevent a global environmental disaster for human and the Earth. Here are some simple actions. Firstly, do your best to reduce waste and buy reusable products. You can also recycle paper, plastic, newspaper, glass and aluminum cans. Secondly, use the electricity energy wisely. You can control your air conditioner while you are sleeping at night or you are not home and keep temperature moderate at all times. You can also turn off the light and electric appliance such as television, radio and computer when you are not using them. Thirdly, walk and bike or use the public transport system or carpool instead of driving your car. It can help to reduce CO2 emissions. Fourthly, conserve a natural resource. You can turn off the water until you actually need it while brushing your teeth, washing your car. Lastly, plant a tree. Trees and other plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen
10. Conclusion
In conclusion, we have been facing many serious and urgent issues confronting us that can be prevented with a bit of effort. But most people do not want to do that, of course .we remain every bit as dependent upon nature today - we need plants to fix photons of energy into sugar molecules and to cleanse the air and replenish the oxygen”. Human beings are dependent upon nature. As we reduce polluting our environment, and conserve natural resources we will get a cleaner and healthier environment and decrease the possibilities of global warming. we should keep our Earth clean, green and healthy, even though some scientists say global warming is a natural processes, not human’s fault .Global Warming is a growing problem and needs to be stopped immediately.
