RSPB Great schools’ Bird watch and Kent Bird Box Project 2009-2010

Our aim for 2009-2010 will be to continue the work started last year-to improve the school grounds and woodland area. The children surveyed the school grouds and made an audit of the wildlife present. They built bird houses and bird feeders out of recycled materials. A space for all our partners to add their photos, art work and other materials related to birds. For this project schools could work together on themes of migration, especially planned around the four birds, Starling, Swallow, Whooper Swan and Cuckoo, suggested by BBC World Class. Let us know about any other type of bird that can be found in your area.
