Famous People In My Country

Children brainstorm a list of famous people in their country who have made a difference. Have them identify how and why they are important. They also identify the charactersitics and actions that make people famous. Chidren pick one famous person they are interested in gathering information about from the list. Help them use the internet to research and take notes. Children make an oral presentation to explain their project to the rest of class.
