Can we save our planet- EARTH?

NATURE  HATH THE BEAUTY I ADMIRE MOST,

The Earth is beautiful creation of God. It is the homeland of many creatures. But what are we doing to our Mother Earth? Deforestation, over exploitation of resources, urbanization and the list continues. Resources are fast depleting, agricultural practices are becoming ineffective, and growth of slums is various concerns that draw over attention. But still, it is not too late. Just a small act of consciousness can make a difference.

Mans hassles have never been affable to the environment. It is said that the Indus valley civilization was probably doomed by the deforestation caused by humans. On the other hand, man has also been ruthless towards animals.Poaching; hunting and deforestation are the common words which we often we get to hear these days. How can man be so selfish; each animal species has its own unique role in our eco system.So, when an animal goes extinct it affects the entire ecosystem. Clearing of forests to meet human demands forces animals into much smaller habitats.Thus; we can say that this huge change in the environment will not only affect the nation but also the lives of millions of people in the coming future.

So, in order to save our planet, we must take initiatives like wildlife conservation, water conservation, planting trees etc.If we don’t begin now ,I am afraid, we might soon hear the silence of the doomed. There is a dire need for the people to reconcile.So, Friends lets join our hands together and embark on this journey of thousand miles with a single step.
