FIRST STAGE - MY HOUSE

Pupils should create drawings/paintings/ stories about their house and share with the partner school. Students work and sketches of their home and their surroundings in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

Balmuildy pupils are working on mini-books in which they are drawing pictures of their homes, families, gardens, pets etc.  We shall send these to Royal English School to let you see our homes.

We hope you will do something similar.

We look forward to seeing your homes too.

The Houses In Faisalabad: Pakistan

Faisalabad is one of the top famous cities of Pakistan. It is also interesting to know that this city is famous
in the world as Manchester of Pakistan due to abundance of industries.
This city is very populous and many people are engaged in the profession of farming as this city is full of fertile land.
The people of this city live in many kinds of houses some are built very simple where as some are built in a modern style of architecture.

Many people live in big houses as the way of living here in this part of the world is to live in " Joint Family System".

VICTORIAN HOMES

Balmuildy pupils are this term doing a History topic on the Victorians. As part of this topic we shall be looking at Houses and Homes during Victorian times. It would be nice to share some of this work with our friends in the Royal English School. Perhaps you could tell us what houses and homes were like in Pakistan a hundred years ago.

FRIENDSHIP FLOWER

Balmuildy pupils are making Friendship Flowers to send to our friends in Pakistan. We shall upload the document to our project page and perhaps some of the pupils of The Royal English School could complete them too, and send them to us in Scotland. Draw a picture of yourself in the head of the flower and tell us something about yourself, family, hobbies etc in the petals.

THANK YOU BOYS AND GIRLS OF ROYAL ENGLISH SCHOOL!

Your friendship flowers arrived in Scotland today.  They are wonderful.

You are very clever to write so well in English.  We are very impressed by your wonderful handwriting and beauriful art work.  Well don!
