My top set year 8 class have now finally begun the rock cycle topic which we will use to link into our e-twinning partnerships with other schools. The local quarry in Aycliffe have invited me to speak to them about what they can offer the students and to arrange a visit with them and take photos. I will also arrange a trip to a local coastal area for the students to see the rock cycle in action and take some photos of local rock formations. Could we start publishing photos of rocks from your area?
