Global Warming: Fact or Fiction?

Is global warming being caused by our use of oils and the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere? Or is it a natural occurence destined to happen? Also, what effects may global warming cause? Will renewable and alternative energy sources be embraced thoroughly and quickly enough to avoid disasters? Is there anything you can do to aid this issue? IMPORTANT. I don't believ in Global warming!!! i think it's a hoax no one should believ in it why even believe in something that can't be fixed the only reason the governemt is saying it's really is because they want to get more money. money money money!!! thats all the government ever thinks about. and stupid hilary clinton belives in global warming and she practically started it abd she's the one who wants all the money. basically her and the whole governemt system. You can't stop global warming nothing can stop it just like how you can't stop natural things from happening like rain and snow and you can't build up the atmosphere. Some people are actually stupid enough to think that they can fix nature and they can stop something like global warming. It's like they think like this: "OMG! It's Snowing!" so im like:"Ya, and your piont is?" and there like "I know!! IT'S SNOWING!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!! GLOBAL FREEZING OMG OMG OMG!!!!" so id be like there's no such this as global freezing or global warming!! and they'd go all government on me and have me like sent to jail. Look all im saying is: GLOBAL WARIMING ISN'T REAL AND COULDN'T BE STOPPED EVEN IF IT WAS REAL!!!!!!!! DUHHH!!!!

Global Warning is a real issue that needs attention because the more we waste energy the more energy and trees we lose from not recycling. Animals in the jungle are losing their homes and are becoming extinct...because we're not thinking of them and their homes. Some people don't understand that paper is made out of trees... and that animals live in trees. The animals are really paying for our mistakes and our laziness.

Global Warming is the heating of earth's surface. Whether or not it is caused by human or it is natural occurrences in nature, is an issue that is coming up a lot lately. I believe that humans contribute a lot of the problems. We are not being respectful to the beautiful earth God gave us. If we continue to not use Go Green products we will cause more damage. If the damage gets any worse, it may become unfixable. God's creation will be destroyed and we will all go down with it.

the global warming is not a fiction, but it is a fact and if it's keep going on, our world can be damaged, bacuse there will be less athmosphere, less water and many things, but we can make the global warming stop, by planting trees, saving the energy, use the redcycle things and etc.

I think Global warming is a real issue. The result of this disaster will have big impacts on us. We have to take notice about this problem. If we don’t, there will be no next generation on Earth, it’s also because we are the one that cause this problem. We can also feel the effects of this problem right now in our environment (natural disasters, high temperature, etc).

At my school we recycle plastic bottles and paper. We also mix the same drinks together that are not finished to recylce the plastic bottles that they come in. We also refrigerate foods and re-heat them later. Our top floor also has no heat (if it does, it is a very little amount). As much as we dont like this, I think that it cuts down on fossil fuels and oil. if we could afford it, which if highly unlikely, we could purchace a solar panel and help power the school.

Global Warming isn't an actual issue because it is part of a natural cycle of warming and cooling. This has been going on for thousands of years. Its not because of pollution like everyone makes it out to be.In the 1970's, people were making a big deal out of global cooling. Now that part of the cycle has ended and people are worried about global warming. The polar ice caps are not going to melt completely and drown us all because the Earth will eventually stop warming up.

Global warming is when the gases from our planet go into our o-zone layer and are destroying it. Without the o-zone layer, we can die. It prevents the sun's rays from coming to close to our earth and killing us.

I thin that it is happening due to oils and the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. It was never like this when there werent cars and all the things that we have now that need oil and that use alot of oil. also people are poluting the earth by not picking up trash and leaving stuff like: cans, bottle, and other trash around. To avoid this maybe people could start picking up trash and not driving around as much and walk or ride bikes more.if this keeps getting worse we are going to end up killing alot of animals that need cold weather to live in and then there will be no more of that kind of animal ever. it is also bad for other animals because people are cutting down there homes (trees) and then they have no place to live.

I think the oils and carbon dioxides does have a lage part to do with Global Warming because a long time ago when we didnt have cars and airplanes and thoses types of transportations none of the concers about global warming were going on and now that people are constantly pumping gas into there tanks and the bad stuff that comes from your exaust from your car.I also think that if Global Warming really does start to happen its going to cause a huge disaster,as in kill off our spiece entirley which would most deffinitly be a disaster.I think we can deffinitly try to help it from progressing any further but I honestly think that if its going to happen that its going to happen wheather it happens soon or in another thousands of years. We can try to help though,by like conserving energy and get more fuel effiency vehicles. and to trying to avoid the non nessecary trips in cars.I think that we should really try to do what ever we can to save out earth because its the only place we actually have to live.

Global warming is being caused by ouR use of oils and the release of carbon dioxide. The effects of global warming can vary. For example: glaciers melting up north cause certain species to not be bale to survive, an increase in natural disasters (tornados hurricanes, etc) and increase in temperatures world wide. It depends on how people embrace renewable alternative energy. If they embrace it in every day life, and great amounts of people take it to their advantage to us it, then yes I do think we can save or help the environment. You can use florescent lights, and do not use hairspray like cans that are dangerous to the earth. Plant more and walk more can help too!

Renewable Energy This question may be answered many different ways depending on the person’s opinion. However, I myself believe that wind and solar power can reduce Global Warming. This all can be carried out only if people actually embrace these energy sources. The United States really doesn’t do as much as they should to consume energy, but we are starting to do better. However, America isn’t the only country that needs to work on it’s carbon footprint. China hardly embraces any alternative energy at all. Of course it’s overpopulation and horrid smog problem doesn’t help the cause of Global Warming either. But if the people of the world want to respect our planet, then they need to keep on or start using alternative energy.

Recycling and Energy Reduction in Schools

Recycling helps everyone. Lately, I have been doing my part by reusing the backs of paper and recycling cans and bottles. I have also been turning the lights off in rooms where they are not being used. My school has been doing their part, too. Recently, the school put a barrel in the cafeteria for recycling empty bottles and cans. Students have been putting in their drink bottles frequently over the past few weeks. In addition, the third grade students passed out boxes to every grade. The boxes are being used for recycling paper from the classrooms. This helps demonstrate to the students and faculty the benefits of recycling and helping the environment. The students keep the idea of recycling in mind when they are at home, also. This way, everybody learns about recycling and its significance to the whole world. My school could put most of the notices on the school website instead of running out papers for all of the grades. This would cut down on our paper usage. Every little bit we do contributes to a more beautiful world.

I believe Global Warming is an increasing issue that the world must accept to be true. It is a rapidly growing problem that will not just disappear. I think people don't believe in Global Warming because they do not understand the facts, or they do not comprehend how their everyday lives can affect it. People can change their ways if they work together and come up with other ways to acquire energy. Until then we will just have to conserve our energy and make the best of this serious situation.

I am going to tell you my opinion on recycling. As you know, the world population is growing, and there are more and more resources being used to produce these important necessities everyday. So if you think about it, it is much smarter to throw your paper, plastic, and glass, in a blue bucket, rather than your normal waste barrel at home. As the years go on, there might not be anymore of the materials left because people just throw them away. If we just recycle our paper each week, think of how many more animals and creatures will survive if we don’t keep cutting down their homes to write on! I hope my opinion made an impression on your recycling responsibility. Thank you for reading my input. :) Katie Manning

Global Warming is a very concerning issue in the world today. Some people think it is a scary story, when in reality people should be taking action to help the Earth. Toxics and oils are let into the air everyday and it must be harmful. How could this be fiction? Everyone should take Global Warming serious and make changes. We should use the energy saving light bulbs, and recycle. People should take even bigger steps to save the planet by adding windmills and using solar powered energy. This is our planet we’re talking about. Save it while we can. Sara

Is Global Warming a real issue that we should take notice of? Or is it just a scary story that we don't have to worry about? Global Warming is a big problem in our world today. Us as people of the United States have to take charge and fix it. It isn't something that we can ignore in hope that it will work itself out. Global Warming is being caused by the amount of gasses, chemicals, and trash that we use. If we stopped the uses of chemicals, and less use of our cars it would make a difference. This might help but still we would have a serious problem. I think that people aren't taking this seriously. They think everything will get better. What they don't know is that it won't. Things are just going to get worse. So in the meantime just remember to recycle, try your best to use your car as rarely as you can.

Global warming is a difficult topic to discuss, for many reasons. One is that we're causing it and yet we can't fix the major mistake that we have made, what we have to remember is that we can try to stop the massive hole in the atmosphere from growing. Everyone needs to be aware and try to help by recycling and buying nice "hybrid" cars to help cut down on the amount of air pollution. Well thats my insight, and if you can you should try to help out in your neighborhood, every one can make a difference.

Yes, I do think that global warming is a real issue. I think that global warming is a real issue because there is scientific evidence showing that as the temperatures get warmer, because of deterioration of the ozone layer, the ice caps are starting to melt. We can help participate in the solution to global warming by walking or riding our bikes rather than having our parents drive us around. We can reuse materials such as water bottles and recycle things such as newspapers, cans, and cardboard. We can wear more layers of clothing to help reduce the amount of heat being used in our homes. I think that everyone can help to decrease the severe consequences of global warming and these are just a few of the many ways you can lend a hand.

In my opinion, Global Warming is a real problem in the world today. Global Warming is caused by humans’ use of things that omit Co2, or carbon dioxide. It is also caused by too much garbage in landfills, which pollutes the Earth itself. People who don’t recycle or conserve energy also contribute. A final factor is over-population in certain countries. All of these things create a Greenhouse Effect. We can all help to prevent the continuation of Global Warming by recycling, using florescent light bulbs, and by carpooling with others when going places instead of each person using their own car.

Global warming causes volcanic eruptions and atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations. It may affect people's health. For example, heat stress and other heat related health problems are caused by very warm temperatures. Air pollution, changes in food and water supplies and floodings may also affect human health.

One of the most current and widely discussed factor which could lead to the ultimate end of existence of Earth and man is global warming and its devastating effects. Scientists have asked how fast the Earth is heating up, and how the warming effects on Earth may effect crops and climatic conditions. Several current trends clearly demonstrate that global warming is directly impacting on; rising sea levels, the melting of icecaps, and significant worldwide climatic changes. In my understanding, global warming represents a fundamental threat to all living things on earth.

global warming causes the tempature to rise which causes a lot of problems like it could make seas rise which will cause a flood, the white ice caps reflect sunlight back into space, further cooling the earth when the ice caps are gone the ocean will absorb the sunlight, further warming the earth. And also if the ocean tempature rises that will cause more frequant and stronger hurricanes, also some areas will become wetter but some will suffer serious droughts and heat waves.

Global warming causes the temperature to rise, and in the artic the polar ice caps are melting which effects: Sea levels to rise causing floods. Changing landscapes in the artic circle will endanger animals. The ocean tempertaure rises causing more frequent and stronger hurricanes. Some diseases will spread because Europe is getting warmer e.g. malaria carried by mosqutios. There will be less fress water because the ice cap willl melt and go into rivers.

Gobal warming can have lots of affects on our planet such as e.g Heat waves and periods of unusually warm weather, Ocean warming, sea-level rise and coastal flooding. Glaciers melting and Arctic and Antarctic warming which can lead to death for many people. But we can help prevent it by doing something as simple as recycling or using less energy.

Global warming may cause a lot of damage to the earth for example,it could melt all the ice capusals, the sea levels could get higher which could cause animals and people that live around that area to die. It could also mean that there will be hotter summers and colder winters. Global warming has a very big impact on the world. So find a way to stop it!

Global warming will affect our weather resulting in hotter summers and harsher winters. As the earth gets warmer, the ice caps on the north and south poles will begin to melt, flooding the earth. We can already see the effects of global warming today such as tsunamis, weather change and volcanic eruptions. Also, global warming is resulting in a rise of sea levels, hugely affecting peoples lives. Due to changes in the weather and sea levels, some animals may not be able to adapt to these changes and may become extinct. The changes in the weather will make food harder to grow therefore there could be famine worldwide. Droughts may also be a huge problem because rivers could dry out due to temperature change. Global warming may take some time to reach these disastorous changes but it is still a major issue and we should act on it now.

Global warming will change our weather systems, so colder countries like Britian will become warmer and warmer countries will become colder! This will affect the way we grow food. Certain crops such as wheat and grain will not grow in the colder countries, this could cause starvation to the people who live in colder countries. Experts say we will start to see severe weather such as floods and huge storms, caused by melting snow in Antartica, which will raise sea levels so in about 10 years parts of the lower hemisphere could be covered in water. This means the people who live in the lower parts of the world will have to move to higher ground. So certain countries may be over crowded. If you want to save your country act now!!

I have a mixed opinion about global warming because I have not heared many facts about global warming but at the same time the weather is crazy! The effects of global warming would be a heat change. The world is heating quicker than we think and also the ice in the Antartica and the North Pole is melting. It confuses me because it is now the beginning of spring and there has been snow over here, so I don't really know what I think about global warming but if I had to choose I would say global warming is happening and shouldnt be.

I think that Global Warming is something we have done. We keep on dumping rubbish, using up electricity we don't need and many other things. Our ancestors are said to have caused some of these problems inthe Industrial age. Although there are a few facts to say that global warming is a natural occurance e.g. the ice age happened on its own, though I still believe that we have mostly caused this problem. No matter what peoples opinions are we can help prevent it from getting any worse. Global Warming is here and is a fact so we should do something about it before it is to late.

I believe that global warming is a natural occurance that was destined to happen though I also believe that we are not helping and are (in a way) destroying our home! We have proof that the world heats up and cools down naturaly- the ice age for example. Though this may be true we could slow down the process by recycling, using alternative energies such as solar and wind power and not destroying all our forests and all that live in them. There may also be a hidden reason in global warming- for example when the lemur population gets to great half of them throw them selves off cliffs. What I am trying to say is that humans are a mammal like any other mammals our species have taken over the earth and the earth is going to rectify that, a virus or disaese could appear tomorow and wipe out the whole of man kind. Maybe thats what global warming is, maybe this is the earth restoring balance.

Renwable and alternative energy sources can be used before disaster strikes. For these energy saving ways to work appropriately and to create a difference to the the worlds tempreture levels, everybody would have to co-operate and all work together to change the world for the better. These ways include giving certain amount of electricity, gas, water, fuels for every family and household in the world. Or there could be other energy saving ways such as: wind turbines, water wheels, solar panels and other ways that can be run by things that will never run out. Just remember everytime that you switch on a light in your house, this planet can be saved but only if everybody plays their part saving our world. Its just a matter of time before global warming strikes, but if we play our parts early we could have hope in saving the world!
