Have a look at a website Princes Trust Rainforest it's fab. Loads of ideas there's a Key Stage 1 and 2 section. Only found it a month ago wish I had found it earlier. We've also adopted an orangutan for the class from doing a sponsored spell. The kids love it. The website is the Orangutan Foundation. Have a look. Debs Sparkes
