Endangered species
Endangered Animals (Mohammad Shamel Public School
Grade 3 students made school brochures about endangered animals in the world. They were divided in to groups. Each group collected information and pictures about one endangered animal. They were collaborated to make a brochure about this endangered animal. After they finished making the brochures, they presented them on the school's wall before publishing copies so all the other students in the school be aware of the issue of the endangered animals

GIANT PANDA
I am the only one,
Who basks in the sun,
Eating bamboo shoots alone,
Other life to me is unknown,
For I don’t,
I am the last,
Of my kind,
When I look around I find,
No other living soul like mine,
I don’t know,
That some one cares,
That my eyes shine,
With life bead,
The Panda I am,
A dying kind,
My fur of black and white,
But I don’t know,
That’s someone puts up a fight,
For my rights.

POLAR BEAR
White and real furry
Leaves in hurry
Polar bears are good swimmers
They are one of the winners
They like to eat seal
That is their best meal
Hairy, big and strong
They are ten feet long
They are endangered for their coats
Don’t wear fur
Make yourself a note

TIGER
Please protect me,
I am a little tiger.
If you don’t hurt me,
I won’t hurt you.
The stripes on my body,
The stripes on your jacket.
Man, oh man! What do you want from me,
All, I want is just a little freedom.
Please think,
Don’t hurt me.
I am a cute and fluffy animal.

JAGURA
Pouncing and searching to eat.
Serating and smelling everyday.
I live in a zoo.
It’s cold and boring.
I would like to live inside the forest.
But for now I don’t have to live in fear of poachers.
I am endangered.
I hope to live.
But for now I am assured the bars around cannot break.
It will be too late.

What can be done to save our endangered species?

Your project is relevant in nowadays situations. We human beings have caused a lot of damage to our environment.It's good you are making new generation aware of their responsibilities.
In India, wild life sanctuaries are built, hunting is prohibited. But due to new forest land being brought under construction for residential or commercial purpose the natural habitat of many animals is being destroyed.
The Ganges River Dolphin is in danger due to excessive water pollution from factories situated close to the river banks.
We as global citizens should create awareness among the masses and pressurise the concerned governments to save these animals.
